Job summary

Zeta Charter Schools in New York is seeking an Elementary School Head Teacher to lead inquiry‑driven, high‑impact instruction in our growing K–8 program. You will deliver rigorous lessons, foster an inclusive classroom culture, and partner with families to support every child’s growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–2+ years of lead teaching experience; NYS certification is preferred. Salary ranges show commitment to staff development and equity, with relocation support available

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2+ years lead K–12 teaching experience (NY state cert preferred).
• Proven record of student growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan inquiry‑driven, academically rigorous lessons that spark curiosity and empower all students to engage meaningfully with learning.
• Build an inclusive classroom culture that nurtures a love of learning and strengthens community among students and families.
• Internalize and master Zeta’s curriculum to deliver exceptional instruction daily.
• Champion academic goals, targeting 90%+ students at or above grade level in ELA and Math.
• Utilize data and student work to drive achievement and refine teaching practice.
• Develop strong relationships with students and families to support growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in weekly professional learning.

Education
