Marlborough Public Schools’ Hildreth School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the PAWS Academy (Elementary) to support K–5 learners with Moderate Needs. You will implement evidence-based interventions in a structured setting, aligning with IEPs and district policies, and collaborate with families and school teams.

The role emphasizes high instructional quality, data-driven planning, and cultural proficiency, with opportunities to grow within a new school environment.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure in Special Education (Moderate Needs) required.
• License must cover elementary grade levels.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in inclusion, small group and individual settings.
• SEI Endorsement desirable.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish/Portuguese) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect instructional support to students as per IEPs.
• Develops and implements IEPs with measurable goals and objectives.
• Ensures compliance with IEP timelines and maintains student records.
• Collaborates with general education teachers to modify curriculum per IEP.
• Analyzes assessment data to inform instruction and interventions.
• Partners with families, caregivers, and community members.
• Communicates progress and provides feedback to students and families.
• Maintains high expectations and ethical professional practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned by building principal.
