- Current teacher certification in MD/VA/DC; candidates have 3 years from hire to earn certification.
- Knowledge of child development and supervision.
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Create lesson plans aligned with Archdiocese standards.
- Deliver a balanced program of instruction with varied methods.
- Administer assessments to measure objectives and inform instruction.
- Differentiate instruction using assessment data for diverse learners.
- Communicate progress to parents and administration; hold conferences as needed.
- Maintain classroom procedures and high expectations; uphold Catholic values.
