Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Middletown, OH is seeking a dedicated substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis. You will implement provided lesson plans, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and collaborate with teachers and volunteers to ensure smooth instruction.

Qualifications

• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom per LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador and communicate lesson plans with volunteers.
