LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who will support LifeWise classes as needed. The role requires implementing LifeWise lesson plans and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment in line with LifeWise policies.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a mature Christian faith and active church involvement, participates in substitute training, and communicates effectively with teachers and volunteers to ensure smooth class operation.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and provide attendance records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties; communicate with the teacher.
