Qualifications

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include high school diploma or equivalent, any appropriate combination of education/experience/certifications, and a valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include being a current employee of the Lee County School District, a valid Florida teaching certificate, and experience with children in group/educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement structured activities including academic support, arts and crafts, games, and physical play.
• Supervise students before and/or after school in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Promote positive behavior, social development, and respectful interactions among students.
• Set up and clean up program areas and materials daily.
• Report all accidents to the Program Director.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents/guardians as needed.
