Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school with a minimum 2.0 GPA and good conduct.
• Must hold valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED issued by AHA or Red Cross.
• Combination of education, experience, or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of children in the after-school program.
• Monitor activities to maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Assist in managing student behavior per program guidelines.
• Facilitate games, arts and crafts, and enrichment activities under staff guidance.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in all activities.
• Supervise during program hours: arrival, snack, activities, dismissal.
• Prepare materials, set up activities, and handle post-activity cleanup.
• Provide homework help and academic support as needed.
• Encourage good study habits and a positive attitude toward learning.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Report issues to After School Program Director promptly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
