Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indiana seeks a PSOE Classroom Teacher to provide direct instruction, implement curriculum, plan lessons, and manage classrooms while ensuring compliance with IEPs, 504 plans, and FERPA/FAPE requirements.

You will use data-driven instruction, collaborate with Elite Teachers, SPED staff, and families, maintain updated cumulative files, report progress, and contribute to school committees to support students with exceptional needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Experience in full-time education in a similar setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings.
• Utilize data-driven instruction and PSOE frameworks to deliver standards-based instruction.
• Complete assessments, grading, planning, and conferences within timelines.
• Maintain compliance with IEPs, 504 plans, and related regulations.
• Document and report progress; maintain cumulative folders for all students.
• Communicate with families and build community partnerships.
• Collaborate with team leads, Elite Teachers, and special education staff as needed.
