Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. Opportunities span K–12 settings and community partners, with 1–4 instructional hours per week across 8–10 weeks and compensation of $50–$65 per hour.

Start dates are throughout the academic year. No teaching credential is required; relevant experience in coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or specialized instruction may qualify you for consideration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students at various levels.
• Introduce concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
• Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education on logistics.
• Follow site policies, safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
• Fulfill responsibilities and schedules of accepted assignments.
