Job summary

Concorde Education seeks independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. Roles are part-time, in-person at schools and community partner locations, typically 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks.

Compensation ranges from $50–$65 per instructional hour, with start dates available throughout the academic year. No teaching certification is required; relevant experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or specialized instruction may qualify.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.
• Educational Background: At least 60 completed college credits is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students.
• Introduce concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and activities.
• Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Adjust instructional approaches for different learning levels.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education on logistics.
• Follow site policies and assignment expectations.
