Job summary

Concorde Education works with K–12 schools and community partners to bring specialized educational and enrichment programs to students.

We are seeking independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. You do not need to be a certified teacher; relevant experience may qualify.

Assignments vary, typically 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks, with compensation of $50–$65 per instructional hour. Opportunities are available throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers
• The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations

Responsibilities

• Leading interactive instructional sessions for elementary, middle, or high school students
• Introducing concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities
• Preparing lessons or activities consistent with the assigned program's objectives
• Encouraging student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development
• Providing appropriate supervision and maintaining a respectful learning environment
• Adjusting instructional approaches to accommodate different learning levels and abilities
• Coordinating professionally with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding program logistics
• Following relevant site policies, student safety procedures, and assignment expectations
• Instructors are expected to fulfill the responsibilities and schedules of assignments they accept.
