Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. Opportunities emphasize sharing expertise with K–12 students through 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks, with compensation typically $50–$65 per instructional hour.

Start dates occur throughout the academic year. No teaching certification is required for many roles; relevant experience in coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or professional practice may qualify you for

Qualifications

Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead interactive instructional sessions for students across grade levels.
Introduce concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
Encourage student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
Provide appropriate supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
Adjust instructional approaches for different learning levels.
Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding logistics.
Follow site policies, safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
Fulfill responsibilities and schedules of accepted assignments.
