Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association in Truckee, CA is seeking energetic Cross-Country Children's Ski Instructors for part-time seasonal work at Alder Creek Adventure Center. Teach children across ages and levels, delivering safe, engaging group and individual lessons while promoting the joy of skiing.

The role requires a passion for teaching kids, reliable hosting, and good guest service; experience with PSIA/AASI or CPR/First Aid is favorable. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $23.46 per hour.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion to teach cross country skiing to children, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Minimum intermediate xc skiing skills or above.
• Ability to assess and teach to a level appropriate to an assigned student or group’s abilities, fitness and needs.
• CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Teach children of various ages and levels in ski programs and classes.
• Provide safe, enjoyable and effective group and individual ski lessons for kids.
• Promote the sport of skiing with exceptional guest service.
• Report to Cross-Country Ski School Director as needed.
