Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association’s Downhill Ski Resort in Truckee, CA is seeking fun and personable Ski Instructors to teach adult and children classes, assist with ski school organization, events, races and other activities. You will provide quality instruction while delivering guest-focused service in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable skiing and riding on groomed terrain.
• Ability to assess and teach to a level appropriate to an assigned student or group’s abilities, fitness and needs.
• Current PSIA membership recommended.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.
• Effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees.
• Teach ski and snowshoe lessons, guided tours, programs, clinics, group bookings, and special events.
• Assist ski school students with proper equipment use and skiing techniques.
• Assist with rental shop service if requested.
• Assist with light cleaning duties and snow removal including shoveling.
