Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association in Truckee, CA seeks friendly Cross-Country Ski Instructors to teach adults and children, and help organize ski school events at Alder Creek Adventure Center. The role requires PSIA Level I certification or related experience; CPR/First Aid recommended; availability midweek, weekends; enjoy safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Passion to teach cross-country skiing to all levels and willingness to learn.
• PSIA Level I certification or related experience and/or training required.
• Current PSIA membership recommended.
• CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.
• Ability to work midweek, weekends, holidays is preferred.
• Minimum one-year related experience in the snow sports business.

Responsibilities

• Teach cross-country skiing and snowshoe lessons, tours, programs, clinics and events.
• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests and staff.
• Assist with on-snow information, equipment fitting and pass checks.
• Assist with rental shop service and snow removal as needed.
