Job summary

Tahoe Donner Association is seeking friendly Ski Instructors to join our Downhill Ski Resort operations in Truckee, CA. The position offers part-time and full-time seasonal opportunities with hourly wages from $25.12 to $34.66 depending on experience.

You will teach ski and snowboard lessons for adults and children, assist with events, ensure guest safety, equipment fitting and on-snow information, and support the ski school with clinics and group bookings.

Qualifications

• Must ski and ride groomed terrain.
• Ability to assess and teach to an assigned student or group’s abilities.
• Current PSIA membership recommended.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended.
• Effective communication and strong customer service.
• Strong sense of safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Teach ski and snowboard lessons, guided tours, programs, clinics and events.
• Assist with ski school organization and group bookings.
• Provide on-snow information and equipment fitting.
• Support rental shop service if requested.
• Perform light cleaning and snow removal duties.
