Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level InSite Technicians in San Jose, CA to perform waste pickups, bulk and consolidate chemicals, and label waste for compliance. You will operate forklifts, inspect drums, and help load/unload waste hauling vehicles on customer sites.

This role emphasizes safety and offers training, with opportunities for growth as you gain experience in environmental services across the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
