Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level InSite Technicians to perform waste pickups, bulking, labeling, and packaging of hazardous waste at customer sites. You will participate in spill response, operate forklifts, and inspect drums to ensure regulatory compliance.

As an entry-level role, you will receive thorough safety training and ongoing support to develop skills and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups at customer facilities.
• Bulk and consolidate chemical waste.
• Package and label waste for efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in spill response on site as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
