Job summary

Clean Harbors is hiring on-site at San Juan Capistrano, CA for an entry-level Chemical Handler. You will perform waste pickups, chemical bulking, labeling, and assist with spill response while learning on the job.

This role offers hands-on training and paths for career growth within a safety-first environment. You will need a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and may require a Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

• Tuesday thru Saturday 4PM-12:30AM

• Possible OT
