Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Chemical Handler to join our safety-focused team on-site in San Juan Capistrano, CA. You will perform waste pickups, bulking, labeling, and sampling while learning from experienced staff.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug test.
• Physical ability to perform loading/unloading tasks and stand for long shifts.
• Valid driver's license is required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Perform waste pickups at a customer's facility.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Package and label waste products for compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in spill response on-site as needed.
• Operate forklifts and inspect drums for integrity and compliance.
• Assist with loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Take waste stream samples and profiling as needed.

• 2 shifts available:
• Tuesday thru Saturday 10AM-6:30PM
• Tuesday thru Saturday 4PM-12:30AM
• Sunday and Monday off
• Possible OT
• On customer site: San Juan Capistrano, CA
• loading/unloading supplies, shipment, haz waste collection
• $23-$24

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

QUALIFICATIONS
