Job summary

Clean Harbors in Irving, TX, is seeking entry-level Chemical Handlers to join a safety-focused team. The role offers on-site responsibilities including waste pickups, chemical bulking, packaging and labeling for compliance, spill response, forklift operation, and waste profiling.

This position starts with training and opportunities for career growth. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required; a Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
