Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level Chemical Handlers in Oregon for on-site waste management and safety‑conscious operations. You will assist with pickups, bulking, labeling, and sampling while upholding stringent regulatory standards and safety practices.

Training and career growth are emphasized, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience in handling hazardous materials and operating forklift equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to complete background check, drug test, and physical.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES
