Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level Chemical Handlers to join a safety-focused team in Albuquerque. The role includes hands-on waste handling, packaging, labeling, spill response, forklift operation, and regulatory compliance, with emphasis on learning and growth within the company.

The position offers hourly pay, benefits after probation, company training, and opportunities to advance within Clean Harbors' environmental and industrial services network across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
