Job summary

Texas Capital seeks an experienced insider risk leader to develop and mature our insider risk program. You will design policies, lead investigations, and collaborate with HR, Legal, and Technology to protect the firm’s information and assets.

Responsibilities include monitoring user behavior with UEBA, producing executive dashboards, and delivering training to foster a security-conscious culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and mature insider risk policies, procedures, and controls aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess user behavior and activity data using UEBA tools and analytics platforms to identify insider threat indicators, anomalies, and risk patterns.
• Lead investigations of suspected insider risk incidents, including evidence collection, documenting findings, and recommending remediation or escalation actions.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Corporate Security, Technology, and business leadership to investigate concerning user conduct and drive timely responses.
• Provide risk assessments and advisory services to business units regarding insider threat exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive-level metrics demonstrating program effectiveness for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Design and facilitate training and awareness initiatives to promote security culture and shared responsibility.
• Maintain thorough documentation of insider risk cases and activities in compliance with records management and legal holds.
