Job summary

Chainlink Labs is seeking a Manager, Insider Trust to lead the Insider Trust function while remaining hands-on in investigations and detection development. You will protect sensitive data, investigate insider risk, and strengthen detection capabilities.

You will mentor the Insider Trust team and collaborate with Legal, People, IT, and Security to close gaps and implement improvements across processes and technology.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in insider risk, detection engineering, security operations, incident response, digital forensics, data protection, threat hunting, or related field.
• 2+ years leading an insider risk, investigations, or closely related security team.
• Hands-on in technical investigations and detection development.
• Experience managing the full investigation lifecycle from scoping to lessons learned.
• Strong knowledge of digital forensics, chain of custody, incident coordination, and case management.
• Experience partnering with Legal and People teams on sensitive workforce investigations.
• Understanding of legal/privacy considerations in workforce investigations.
• Experience in software/financial services handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor the Insider Trust team.
• Direct and conduct investigations involving sensitive data, systems, and workforce activity.
• Build and improve detections, monitoring, and escalation workflows for insider risk.
• Ensure investigations are timely, well documented, and supported by defensible evidence.
• Partner with Legal, People, IT, and Security throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify control gaps and translate findings into technical and process improvements.
• Establish metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness and coverage.
• Communicate sensitive findings clearly to executives and staff.
