Job summary

Texas Capital Bank seeks an experienced insider risk professional to develop and mature policies, monitor user activity with UEBA, and lead investigations of suspected insider incidents. You will work with HR, Legal, Corporate Security, Technology, and leadership to drive timely responses and strengthen risk controls across the organization.

The role requires deep knowledge of insider threats, regulatory requirements such as SOX/GLBA/FINRA/SEC, and strong communication skills to report findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience in military, law enforcement, or government service.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in insider risk management, security investigations, compliance, behavioral analysis, or a closely related domain.
• Strong understanding of insider threat tactics, adversary behaviors (TTPs), and common risk indicators within financial services environments.
• Solid knowledge of behavioral analysis techniques, user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), and investigative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and mature insider risk policies, procedures, and controls aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess user behavior data using UEBA tools to identify insider threat indicators and risk patterns.
• Lead investigations of suspected insider risk incidents, including evidence collection, documentation, and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Corporate Security, Technology, and leadership to investigate concerning user conduct and drive timely responses.
• Provide risk assessment and advisory services to business units regarding insider threat exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and dashboards demonstrating program effectiveness for senior management and regulators.
• Design and facilitate training promoting security culture and shared responsibility.
• Maintain thorough documentation of insider risk cases in compliance with records management and legal holds.
