Job summary

Hire Authority LLC is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support account managers and customers from our headquarters in the Southwest Houston area. You will provide technical and commercial sales support, identify opportunities, and guide customers through the sales process.

The role requires 3–5 years in inside sales within an industrial technical setting, strong knowledge of isolation valves, actuators, and controls, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inside sales in an industrial technical sales environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of isolation valves, automation, and controls.
• Experience sizing pneumatic and electric actuators for isolation valves.
• Experience sizing/selecting controls for pneumatic panels.
• Basic understanding of P&ID’s.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of PC proficiency including MS Office, principal supplied software, internal business system and internet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals/quotes including product sizing, selection and pricing to assist Outside Sales in selling products and services.
• Interact with customers on a day-to-day basis providing technical, commercial and general sales support.
• Evaluate RFQ’s for testing, documentation and technical content to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
• Evaluate customer requirements and identify opportunities for optimizing margin and expanding scope of products/services supplied.
• Manage workload and engage available internal and external resources as required to meet customer deadlines.
• Log all opportunities and maintain accurate information in Salesforce CRM.
