Qualifications

• Experience in metals sales is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications daily.
• Strong typing and math skills.
• Able to read basic purchase orders.
• Excellent listening and daily/weekly/monthly task organization.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented and cooperative with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales calls, inquiries, orders, expedites and complaints promptly.
• Place outbound calls for quotes and follow-ups, including expedites.
• Make cold calls to dormant accounts.
• Process orders and inquiries from phone and email.
• Work independently to meet deadlines.
• Use AS400 to complete paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Wear approved PPE as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
