Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, is hiring an Inside Sales Associate / Warehouse Associate in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The role involves assisting walk-in and phone customers, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth sales process while also supporting receiving, picking, and shipping duties in a fast-paced environment.

You will build relationships, handle questions, and maintain accurate data entry for invoices and payments, with safety-certified forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Strong counter "presence" and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Strong customer-service attitude.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner.
• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered.
• Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
