Job summary

POOLCORP, a leading distributor of outdoor living products, seeks an Inside Sales Associate / Warehouse Associate in the Miami area. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing orders, and maintaining accurate data entry while supporting warehouse operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 18–20 USD per hour with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of inside sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service attitude and ability to handle customers professionally.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers, maintaining a professional company presence.
• Process, pull and distribute customer products quickly and accurately.
• Enter sales orders and generate invoices for pickup or delivery.
• Ensure payment with proper funds or credit authorization per policy.
• Assist in warehouse duties including receiving and shipping.

Pay

$18 – $20 per hour, with up to $2,500 in performance bonuses.

Work Hours

Monday – Friday: 6:30AM – 4:30PM
Rotating Saturdays during summer season: 8AM – 12PM

What to Expect

The Inside Sales Associate / Warehouse Associate works with customers to identify their needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process, while also supporting the team and customers by accurately and safely receiving and pulling orders in a fast‑paced environment.

• Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk‑in and phone customers, representing the company professionally.
• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate invoices for products to be picked up or delivered.
• Secures payment of invoices with proper funds or obtains credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by manufacturers’ warranty policy and customer needs.
• Estimates delivery dates to customers based on vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pick‑ups.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of related inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Strong counter presence and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Strong customer‑service attitude.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
• Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals or pool construction helpful.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
