Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks an Inside Sales Representative I for Woodridge, IL. This 6-month role supports the DON Sales force with quotes, order research, and customer communications, delivering high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years of administrative support with strong customer service, plus familiarity with SAP and MS Excel. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential to success.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus 2+ years in administrative support with strong customer service.
Proficiency with SAP; intermediate Word and Excel; strong analytical and organizational abilities; ability to multitask and problem-solve.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred: Associate degree and experience in food service industry in Sales or Corporate office; intermediate SAP experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics for new customer roll-outs, openings, and product roll-outs with internal and external customers.
Communicate order status, including sales, returns, and credit issues, with Sales Representatives.
Keep District Sales Manager informed and escalate issues beyond authority as needed.
Prepare quotes, customer order guides, and reports.
Maintain and update databases to provide essential data to DON users.
Request literature and samples from manufacturers.
Follow up on Factory Direct Orders and obtain proofs of delivery and PRO numbers.
Make select customer calls on re-supply business.
Assist in coordination of pre-packs, new installations, and major sales tasks from order inception to completion.
Check in pre-packs on site at openings.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues; manage correspondence from customers and account managers.
Work with manufacturers to obtain pricing literature, lead times, and shipping information.
Prepare formal quotations including specs and freight using DON Auto Quote System or MS Excel.
Process stock and non-stock orders; coordinate with Purchasing on delivery times; follow up with factories for shipping information.
Process returns and obtain return approvals; ensure proper processing and pickup of RAs.
Navigate Salesi, Info Builder, Don quote 360 and other sales tools.
Communicate with sales and customers to obtain/process orders; provide documents and reports as directed by sales management.
Retrieve messages via voice and e-mail and respond within time frames.
Assist Sales and Sales Management with administrative duties.
Coordinate vendor contract set-up and maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
