Job summary

Rio Grande Co. seeks an Inside Sales Representative for the Fab Shop to guide contractors, builders, and homeowners on product selection, pricing, and order coordination.

Collaborate with Outside Sales and Yard Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery. The role requires 2+ years in inside sales or customer service in building materials, strong knowledge of masonry products, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inside sales or customer service in building materials or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of masonry, stone, or brick products preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic sales software; ERP systems experience a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, phone callers, and email inquiries with product information, pricing, availability, and applications.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and close sales.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of product lines including stone, brick, and related materials.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to source materials and provide accurate lead times.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support accounts and maintain service standards.
• Maintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materials in a neat, up-to-date manner.
