The job involves building relationships, processing quotes and orders, and using AS400 and Salesforce to manage data and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in steel or industrial sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers through responsive, reliable service.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales and Inside Sales Manager to respond to quotes and fulfill orders accurately.
• Interpret customer material applications and relay internal needs using AS400 and Salesforce.
• Maintain updated and accurate customer data in the AS400 system.
• Support customer satisfaction through clear communication, inventory coordination, and timely delivery.
• Understand our division's capabilities to make informed, quality-driven decisions.
• Effectively respond to urgent customer needs and changing priorities.
• Make proactive cold calls to help generate new business.
• Manage contract accounts and inventory programs with precision and organization.
