Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support Outside Sales and Account Executives in selling Knapp solutions to new and existing customers in assigned markets. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, purchasing, service, and Knapp affiliates to meet customer needs and budgets.

The successful candidate will produce proposals, cost estimates, and customer presentations, while adhering to the KNAPP Sales Process and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with minimum 4 years' sales experience.
• Technical background in material handling, logistics, supply chain, or order fulfillment preferred.
• Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management technology.
• Knowledge/proficiency of SAP.
• Ability to think creatively, plan, organize, set goals, and execute strategically.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and internal/external networking skills.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Outside Sales as required to sell Knapp systems to new and existing customers.
• Work collaboratively with assigned Knapp resources to develop systems that meet customer’s needs and budgets.
• Produce detailed proposals describing Knapp's designed system.
• Produce cost estimates for management approval.
• Provide support to create and give effective, accurate, and technically correct customer presentations.
• Comply with the most current version of the Knapp Inc. Sales Process.
