Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an inside sales representative in Houston to coordinate customer support from quote to delivery. You will educate customers, interpret project requirements, provide quotes, and drive deposits while coordinating with manufacturing and delivery teams.

Responsibilities include tracking leads in CRM, following up with prospects, generating estimates, entering orders, and resolving post-delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One to Two years of experience in a sales or service-oriented industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Strong professionalism, work ethic and competitive spirit.
• Sufficient personal computer and business software application use capabilities required.
• This job is 100% office based.

Responsibilities

• Work within CRM platform to track leads, update opportunities and manage follow ups.
• Utilize phone calls, emails and text messages to contact leads.
• Generate professional project estimates and sales of metal building systems, residential metal roofing and components.
• Effectively manage time to maximize customer contacts and quote projects expeditiously.
• Enter sales orders into software systems and coordinate internal resources to provide customers with desired products and services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Coordinate post-delivery issues such as damages, shortages, delays, changes, field fabrication methods, etc.
• Ensure the sale of products and services comply with proper pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the customer point of contact, provide assurance, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Act as the liaison between the customer and company regarding potential problems and customer desires.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
