Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Inside Sales Representative at our Mueller National Call Center to educate customers, interpret project requirements, prepare quotes, and manage contracts from presale through delivery.

You will coordinate with technical services, manufacturing and logistics to ensure on-time, accurate orders while maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in sales or service-oriented industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Professionalism, work ethic and competitive spirit.
• Proficiency with basic computer and business software.

Responsibilities

• Use CRM to track leads, update opportunities and manage follow-ups.
• Contact leads via phone, email, and text messages.
• Generate project estimates and sales of metal building systems and components.
• Manage time to maximize customer contacts and quote projects.
• Enter sales orders and coordinate with internal resources to fulfill orders.
• Coordinate post-delivery issues such as damages, shortages, delays, or changes.
• Ensure pricing policies are followed and maintain customer relationships.
• Act as customer liaison to resolve problems and convey preferences.
• Analyze competitive market information and report findings.
• Deliver customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
