Job summary

MetalTek International is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for the Process Industry, focusing on Static Castings. This on-site role targets forecasted bookings and new business using primarily virtual selling tools and close collaboration with customers.

The candidate will develop prospecting plans, manage account plans, and drive profitable sales growth while maintaining robust CRM usage and relationship-building with key decision makers. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Inside sales or related experience.
• Excellent listening, sales, customer service, and presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CRM to manage account plans and opportunities.
• Proven track record of uncovering and closing new business.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a prospecting and lead follow up plan.
• Leverage network to prospect and uncover new opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Develop sales strategies and plans aligned with plant strategies.
• Follow up on proposals and close orders.
• Achieve plant-specific and total bookings and new business goals.
• Follow up on new RFQs to understand customer needs
• Own the account sales process to drive profitable sales growth using CRM and sales processes.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers at key customers.
• Update CRM daily to communicate sales plan execution.
