Job summary

Duncan Exterminating is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Gainesville, GA. You will be the first point of contact for prospective pest control customers, educate them on services, provide customized solutions, and convert leads into loyal clients while scheduling initial services.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, present pricing and promotions, and work with field teams to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must obtain GA Technician Certification within specified period to sale pest control services.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening and persuasion are important.
• Ability to multitask while navigating multiple computer systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer management software.
• Objection handling and negotiation.
• Ability to work with sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from potential new customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
• Schedule the first service appointments while ensuring efficient technician routing and availability.
• Collect a form of payment and a signed contract (PC & MC).
• Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Focus on achieving First Call Resolution (FCR) by resolving customer concerns during the initial interaction whenever possible.
• Explain services accurately, benefits, pricing, promotions, and terms.
• Generate leads and follow up with potential customers.
• Coordinate with field specialists, service managers, and other departments to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly.
• Handle customer objections and negotiate to close sales.
• Maintain knowledge of company services, promotions, and procedures to provide accurate information.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, quotas, and performance goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
