Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking an inside sales support professional to assist inbound and outbound sales. You will apply knowledge of electrical products and customer needs to respond to inquiries and help the sales team achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities include processing orders, generating quotes, and identifying upsell opportunities while maintaining CRM data accuracy and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales support or inside sales.
• Travel: None; Office environment.

Responsibilities

• Determines product selections and pricing by referencing inventory and contract terms.
• Performs order entry, quote generation, and follow-up tasks to ensure accurate processing.
• Observes purchasing behavior to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Handles calls and emails to provide product information and resolve service issues.
• Enters sales orders and notes into CRM/ERP systems for accuracy and reporting.
