Wieland, a global metal manufacturer, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Coppell, TX. You will manage customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and related communication to support sales growth and ensure timely fulfillment.

This role works closely with Outside Sales, Scheduling, Production, Logistics, and Finance to deliver accurate orders on-site. Candidates should have 2+ years in sales or customer service, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years in sales, customer service, or related field; metals or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of sales processes, order management, and basic business calculations.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and professional communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related data entry or business systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers on products, pricing, lead times, order status, and delivery.
• Prepare and manage quotations, orders, acknowledgments, and related documents.
• Review orders and requirements for accuracy and pricing alignment.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support accounts and hit targets.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Production, Logistics, Finance to fulfill orders.
• Analyze costs, conversions and margins; assist with contract coordination.
• Monitor inventory including excess or aged stock and purchase requisitions.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Support additional Inside Sales tasks as needed.
