Job summary

DPR Construction in New Jersey is seeking an experienced inside sales and customer support specialist. You will be the internal point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, quotes, orders and fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely service.

Collaborating with outside sales, branch leadership and internal teams, you will apply product knowledge and process expertise to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales operations.
• Knowledge of product and equipment categories relevant to construction supplies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer interactions throughout the order lifecycle, including inquiries, quoting, order processing, fulfillment, and issue resolution.
• Creates and maintains accurate sales quotes, sales orders, invoices, and rental or re-rental contracts in accordance with established standards.
• Coordinates purchasing activities for inventory, drop-ship items, re-rented equipment, and site services in alignment with procurement guidelines.
• Supports inventory, equipment, and receiving activities by maintaining accurate records, following inventory control procedures, and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborates with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Leverages product and equipment knowledge to support customer decision-making and resolve service-related issues.
• Prioritize daily tasks and manages time effectively to consistently meet service standards
