Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced inside sales and customer support professional in Reston, VA. The role focuses on managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment while collaborating with outside sales and internal teams.

The candidate will apply strong product knowledge and process expertise to drive revenue growth and high-quality service, serving as a primary internal contact for customers and helping optimize the order lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• 2–4 years in construction supplies, equipment industry, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages customer interactions throughout the order lifecycle, including inquiries, quoting, order processing, fulfillment, and issue resolution.
• Creates and maintains accurate sales quotes, sales orders, invoices, and rental or re-rental contracts in accordance with established standards.
• Coordinates purchasing activities for inventory, drop-ship items, re-rented equipment, and site services in alignment with procurement guidelines.
• Supports inventory, equipment, and receiving activities by maintaining accurate records, following inventory control procedures, and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborates with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Leverages product and equipment knowledge to support customer decision-making and resolve service-related issues.
• Prioritize daily tasks and manages time effectively to consistently meet service standards

Job Summary
