Job summary

SRS Distribution, Inc. – Orlando, FL is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge and process orders for drywall, insulation, and related materials. You will build customer relationships, enter orders in the company system, and support sales goals in a fast-paced office setting.

The role emphasizes accurate order processing, effective communication with customers and colleagues, and collaboration with Outside Sales to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with order entry and customer service preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Building relationships with customers.
• Use company system to enter orders.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
