Job summary

Gator Gypsum, Inc. - Miami is seeking an Inside Sales representative to provide product knowledge on drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, stucco, tools, safety items, and accessories for the drywall industry.

You will take orders at the sales counter and by phone, build relationships with customers, and collaborate with Outside Sales to develop strategic approaches while maintaining accuracy and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred.
• Ability to self-manage and meet the public.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders using the company computer system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms/reports.
