SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales representative to provide product knowledge and process orders for drywall, insulation, and related building materials at our Columbia, MO location.

You will build relationships with customers, enter orders in the company system, and collaborate with Outside Sales Reps to drive sales. A high school diploma is required, with a 4-year degree preferred, and a team-oriented, customer-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Takes orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Builds relationships with customers.
• Enter orders in the company system accurately.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers.
• Overcome objections and present product/service benefits.
• Prepare sales order forms and reports.
