Job summary

The Advocate, a division of Georges Media Group, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support obituary notices and recruitment advertising in Baton Rouge. You will assist with front desk interactions and manage advertising options, pricing, and publication schedules, while guiding customers through online submission portals and payment processing.

You will join a team driving classifieds, obituary, and legal advertising verticals, focusing on customer service, accuracy, and relationship

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service, clerical, administrative, or data-entry experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately determine advertising charges.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with team members and management.
