Job summary

The Advocate in Lafayette is seeking a Marketing Account Executive to drive new business and grow regional client relationships across Acadiana. You will identify opportunities, present integrated print and digital Advertising solutions, and close deals.

This role emphasizes prospecting, consultative selling, and managing a pipeline across print, SEM, SEO, social, OTT/CTV, and display. Competitive base salary plus commissions and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales, marketing, or business development experience.
• Media/advertising sales experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of today’s marketing/advertising ecosystem, including traditional and digital media.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage time, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
• Experience selling digital marketing strategies (SEM, SEO, social, OTT/CTV) preferred.
• Competitive base salary with commissions; aggressive monthly structure.

Responsibilities

• New business acquisition through strategic outreach.
• Consultative selling using the full print and digital portfolio.
• Sell cross-platform campaigns (print, SEM, SEO, social, OTT/CTV, display, Amazon ads).
• Lead digital initiatives and ROI-focused strategies for new advertisers.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity reporting.
