Join our Team as an Inside Sales Specialist!

Do you have a competitive spirit? Are you a dynamic go-getter looking to make your mark in sales? We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our remote SmartSource team under the guidance of our supportive Inside Sales Supervisor. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will engage with potential leads and established customers across independent and retail pharmacy sectors.

SmartSource is a national pharmaceutical distributor serving retail, small-chain, and long-term-care pharmacies. We are the secondary wholesale solution for pediatric, compounding, and specialty needs.

Our next class starts on June 16. The ideal candidate will be located in Central Standard Time (CST).

What You'll Do:
  • Drive new business development initiatives
  • Manage territories and pipelines effectively
  • Promote and sell products and exclusive promotions to bolster existing relationships
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in proactive prospecting and cold-call activities targeting specific customer segments
  • Identify and recruit potential customers interested in collaborating with us
  • Handle account coverage for team members as needed
  • Utilize inventory systems to support customer product requirements
  • Participate in daily huddles and role-playing exercises with the team
  • Maintain accurate data records within our CRM software

Salary Range*

$37,000 - $52,800
*This range reflects a national average; actual may vary by location, possibly up to 10% lower or 12% higher.
