In this role, you will:

  • Handle inbound calls and customer inquiries to generate sales.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Provide product details, demonstrate features, quote prices, and prepare sales orders.
  • Track stock levels, update inventory data, and communicate stock information.
  • Determine optimal delivery methods and estimate delivery dates.
  • Enter customer data related to purchases and credit terms into our database.
  • For senior-level candidates: train team members, manage workflow, and act as a subject matter expert, with greater decision-making independence.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring:

  • Occasional lifting of at least 25 lbs.
  • Repetitive standing, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, and bending.
  • Alternating sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in shop or industrial distribution, sales, or fabrication.

Physical and environmental requirements:

  • Ability to lift weights, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as described.
  • Work environment ranges from quiet to moderate noise, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
