Koppers Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Administrative professional to support sales teams with contract terms, pre-sale inquiries, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service or inside sales.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze, read, and write general business reports.
• Strong team player with high attention to detail.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative sales support to assist with contract terms and pre-sale inquiries.
• Process and manage customer purchase orders and enter orders at the appropriate location.
• Coordinate purchase orders with plant locations, reload yards, procurement and logistics to meet due dates.
• Comply with Sox standards for accurate documentation.
• Handle telephone inquiries from customers and provide superior customer service.
• Reconcile reload yard inventory on a monthly basis for accuracy.
• Assist in coverage when other inside sales representatives are out of the office.
• Follow procedures from Koppers Credit and Finance Departments.
• Occasionally visit a plant to assist in physical inventories and training.
• Support customer restoration efforts during storms by entering orders, including night/weekend/holiday work as needed.

Job ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with sales teams to provide general administrative sales support to ensure contract terms and assists customers with pre-sale inquiries in addition to order fulfillment.Responsible for processing and managing customer purchase orders and entering orders at the appropriate location.
